Mainly it is to protect the privacy of our classmates from companies and agencies that collect information on people such as their current email address, home address, phone number, and any other sensitive information that should be kept private or between friends. If you have ever been spammed by worthless garbage from lame stock tips to bizzare sexual aids then you know what it is like. It sucks and it is practically impossible to get your name off these lists. The password protection is not to keep anyone from the Arundel HS Class of 1982 out!! By having these pages private between friends then perhaps it will give everyone a comfort zone to express themselves more freely. If you can't remember the password don't worry.
